College Goal Oregon (CGO) is an event that pulls together high schools, community-based organizations, and colleges or universities together to serve your community. CGO helps college-bound students and their families complete their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or their Oregon Student Aid Application (ORSAA). CGO events are free and open to high school seniors, college students, and adults interested in college.
If you are not interested in hosting a traditional CGO event, but are interested in having a FAFSA/ORSAA Completion Event for your school or organization, complete the Outreach Request form.
If you are interested in having a larger CGO event, please email Lori Ellis lorianne.m.ellis@hecc.oregon.gov.
OSAC works in partnership with high schools, community-based organizations, and other college support programs to increase FAFSA and ORSAA completion rates.
A key tool in this effort is the FAFSA Plus+ program which provides student-level data on FAFSA completion. Student-level data includes who has or has not completed the FAFSA and students' verification and rejection status. ORSAA data is not available through this program.
