Oregon Promise Grant

The Oregon Promise is a state grant that helps cover tuition costs at any Oregon community college for recent high school graduates and GED® test graduates. Students must apply during their senior year or immediately after GED® test completion.

For students who graduate between March 1, 2025 and June 30, 2025, the application is open to apply.

Award Amounts

Award range for full-time, full-year students:

2024-25: $2,124 to $4,422

Program Updates

MARCH 2025

  • Students who graduate between March 1, 2025 and June 30, 2025 must apply now!
  • Renewal students who are receiving the grant in the current academic year (2024-25) must submit the 2025-26 FAFSA or ORSAA by June 1, 2025 to be considered.
  • The SAI limit has been adjusted and finalized to 25,000 for Class of 2024:
    • Students with an SAI 25,000 are not eligible for the grant. 
    • OSAC has not yet determined if there will be an SAI limit for Class of 2025 - that will be announced in Spring 2025.
