Next Deadline: JUNE 3

The next Oregon Promise deadline is for high school students graduating between March 1 - June 30, 2019. The deadline is Monday, June 3 at 5:00pm PT.

Awarding Update for 2019-20

Oregon Promise awarding has begun for Fall 2019 applicants. There is a tentative Expected Family Contribution (EFC) limit of 18,000 for new applicants. Visit Oregon Promise FAQs for all details.

GPA Verification

Tuesday, July 10 is the final day for high school staff to verify GPAs online for Oregon Promise applicants who graduated between March 1 - June 20, 2018. Learn more about GPA verification.

GED Applicant Deadline Extension

The Oregon Promise deadline has been extended for GED applicants only. GED completers have until July 6 at 5:00pm to submit their Oregon Promise application and the 2018-19 FAFSA/ORSAA. The July 6 deadline is for students completing their GED between March 1 - June 30, 2018. Technical Issues

OSAC is currently experiencing technical difficulties with the Oregon Promise application. The application may say “Your deadline has passed”, but the deadline is still June 1 for students graduating or completing a GED between March 1 – June 30. Thank you for your patience as we work to fix this issue.

Attention February GED Recipients

If you completed your GED in February 2018 but missed the February 1 Oregon Promise deadline, please email info@oregonpromise.org by March 12 to request a deadline extension.

Temporary Administrative Rule

The Higher Education Coordinating Commission has established a Temporary Administrative Rule, which clarifies the process for determining eligibility based on Expected Family Contribution. View the rule language here.
