Volunteering with OSAC

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with OSAC. We have two different volunteer opportunities available. Please read the volunteer descriptions carefully.

ASPIRE

ASPIRE is the State's career and college readiness program. Volunteer mentors across Oregon meet with students at middle schools, high schools, youth correctional facilities, and community-based organizations to help them plan for what's next after they graduate from high school.

Scholarship Selection Committee

OSAC administers hundreds of scholarships each year that help students pay for college. The internal selection committee is responsible for reviewing and scoring student applications, which are then passed along for final awarding decisions. OSAC needs volunteers to serve on this selection committee each year from March to July and help us identify deserving students.

OSAC has flexible scheduling for volunteers during traditional work hours, but we do ask that you commit to at least four meetings per season. Training for selection committee members involves an initial training session (1-2 hours) or an annual update training for returning members.

Please review and complete the OSAC Scholarship Selection Volunteer Application. After you have completed the application, please mail it to: 3225 25th St SE, Salem, OR 97302
